It is estimated that about 75% of people have a fear of talking in front of crowds. Today, 11 Winifred FFA members defied those numbers and competed in our district Leadership Development Events, entering events such as prepared and extemporaneous speaking, creed speaking, employment skills and Parliamentary Procedure. Doing hard things and conquering fears really is what FFA is all about.

Winifred High School BPA students had a successful State Leadership Conference in Billings. Students competed in competitive events, attended workshops, a business panel discussion, and general sessions. Congratulations to the Financial Analyst Team of Ashlen, Claira, and Kinzlee for their 2nd place finish and qualification for Nationals in Nashville, TN. Congratulations to the Visual Design Team of Lyla, Claire, and Kinzlee for being top 10 finalists. Thank you Stacie for traveling with us with as a chaperone.

We took a handful of members up for the annual Conrad Seminar invitational where they got to spend time learning from industry professionals in the areas of veterinary science and agricultural mechanics. Our teams then got to put that new knowledge to use with contests in both content areas.
