Last week our members traveled to Bozeman to compete at the Montana FFA Ag Expo! Throughout the event we competed in a wide variety of both Career and Leadership development events and saw quite a bit of success. Junior Extemporaneous Speaking - 4th Place Individual Jen Ewen Junior Prepared Speaking - 4th Place Individual Grace Bartos 5th Place Individual Aiden Rich Veterinary Science - 10th overall (2nd in district) Myer Lensing - 32nd individual Kinzlee Wickens - 49th individual Josie Raty - 59th individual Lilah Fordyce - 71st individual Agronomy - 10th overall (1st in district) Ashton Welch - 8th individual Dakota Wood - 30th individual Carter Rich - 39th individual Mechanics - 19th overall (2nd in district) Ashton Welch - 7th individual Dakota Wood - 18th individual Carson Wherley - 62nd individual Forestry - 10th overall (2nd in district, qualified for State) Dakota Wood - 32nd individual Felix Wickens - 51st individual Lane Raty - 70th individual We also qualified for State in Marketing Plan and Floriculture. Thank you to the community of Winifred for helping us travel to events like these!

*** UPDATE*** HILGER MEATS IS DONATING THE PROCESSING OF THESE PIGS !! THANK YOU HILGER MEATS!!! Winifred School is raising money to purchase and process two pigs from Hilger Meats for our school foods program!
• $700 will cover the cost of the live animals.
• Anything we raise above $700 will go toward the purchase of a beef for the lunch program! Donations will be accepted at the school
• Drop cash/check off at the school office (make checks to Winifred Public School)
• Message Kristin Carlstrom or call the school if you need another way to donate
Every little bit gets us closer—$5, $20, $100… it all adds up and the kids are so grateful for the support!
