Despite poor road conditions preventing the chapter from traveling to Geraldine for our contests, we saw some great successes from competing virtually.
A special congratulations goes to our very own Johanna DeMars for winning both district Extemporaneous and Prepared speaking yesterday! Results are as follows:
TEAMS
Sales: 3rd place team (Qualified for State)
Parliamentary Procedure: 2nd place team (Qualified for State)
INDIVIDUALS
Johanna DeMars: 1st place prepared speaking, 1st place extemporaneous speaking
Wyatt Burgess: 5th place employment skills
Aubrey Woodson: 4th place Jr Creed speaking
Jennifer Ewen: 5th place Sr Creed speaking


The class of 2027 is selling super bowl squares. $10/square. Pay-put is $50/1st and 3rd quarter, $100/halftime and $200/End of game. Numbers will be random drawn after squares are assigned. Please contact Julie Ewen or a Sophomore to purchase a square.


The Red Cross staff would like to get on the road early today because of the weather. If you plan to walk in to donate blood please plan to be here by 2:30 PM.

It's the final countdown to the end of the READBowl! Remember this Quarter wraps up earlier than our previous quarters, so you must return your reading log to Mrs. Heggem or your classroom teacher tomorrow!

Wow, we're headed into half-time of the READBowl! Don't forget to return your Second Quarter reading logs to Mrs. Heggem or your classroom teacher on Monday, January 27th!
Third Quarter kicks off with the next reading log tomorrow, as well.


Due to road conditions school will operate on a late start time of 10:00 a.m. tomorrow Thursday January 23, 2025 The Highway Bus route will be the only route run tomorrow and will run 2 hours and 15 minutes late from regular schedule. Pre-School will be held from 10:00 - 3:30 tomorrow.

Thursday January 23 Home Basketball game VS Big Sandy has been canceled. A reschedule date will be announced when available

Due to road conditions we will be cancelling the PE events for Thursday January 23rd. We are still planning on having a normal school day tomorrow. However, as we monitor changing conditions we will be making a final determination tonight by 8 pm. Please watch for additional updates.
