Attention K-7th grades, the First Quarter of our READBowl is coming to an end today. Be sure to log your minutes, and return your reading logs to Mrs. Heggem or your classroom teacher tomorrow!
Be on the lookout for the next reading log to come home, as our Second Quarter starts tomorrow, January 20th.
Due to road conditions school will operate on a late start time of 10:00 a.m. today January 17, 2025 Bus routes will run 2 hours late. The salt creek route will not run today.

Winifred School will be in session tomorrow and bus routes will run as scheduled with only minor exceptions. If there is a deviation to your portion of the route you will have already been contacted. Please arrive a few minutes early for your scheduled pickup time to account for changing road conditions. In accordance with Winifred School Policy, school will be in session unless you receive notification from the school to the contrary.

The Red Raider Cheerleaders are putting on a cheer camp! - Deadline for registration: January 31 - Please provide T-shirt size when signing up! - To sign up, contact Sally Knox- K-5th Grade - Both boys & girls are welcome - $30 per participant - Snacks provided :) (let us know about any allergies) Participants will learn two crowd cheers, a half-time routine, and flag presentation for the Girls' Varsity Game (6:00 p.m. that evening).

If anyone is looking for some last-minute wrapping paper, the 6th grade Class of 2031 has some quality Hallmark roles left at $5 per roll (cheaper than Amazon and available locally). Please get ahold of Mrs. Heggem to purchase directly from our on-hand inventory.
6th and 7th graders will be putting on the Scientist Book Fair Wednesday December 18 from 10-11 in the Lunchroom. Everyone welcome to stop in and check it out!

Thank you to all who have contributed to our Two for Trevick fundraiser. So far we have raised $1565 and counting. We will continue the fundraiser until Christmas Break. $2 a day for Students to wear hats. $2 per day for Staff to wear Jeans.
Winifred FFA would like to thank everyone who has volunteered to help with hosting winter districts this coming Tuesday (12/10)! If you are helping judge any contests take a look at this list to see what time you should arrive at the school to receive directions.
